In the year 2002, Elvis Thompson, caught up in the sprite comic fad that was sweeping videogame nerds on the internet, decided to make his own piece of the proverbial pie by starting a website to become more famous that Fireball20xl.com. He called it the Nicknyte Corporation. However, it was only a one man job and the site was ran on Angelfire.com. Basically, he just used the site to refer family and friends to the site and just storage to keep his fanfics. In early 2003 while looking at comics at Fireball, a link connecting to sonicanime.net was being advertised by Psy, the site owner, himself. The site connected to a smaller site that was making preparations to put up Japanese versions of the of Sonic animation series "Sonic X". The board was a hub of young members, such as himself, who also was into Sonic the Hedgehog and joined thier community. Later that year a hacker came into the boards yelling lewd racial remarks and acting as Jaleel White. Nicknyte, as well as a few other members, drew the faker away from the site and some of which were promoted, including Nicknyte. After gaining the trust of Shayne Thames, the owner of Sonicanime.net, she gave him the site SonicUnderground.net, which was inactive since she diverted her attention to Sonicanime. He decided to not run the site by himself but with staff. The staff included, Draco Strife, TygerStKuan, Miqe Eskridge, Bazil, Fatty D, and Kite the Ribbon. It also included Shanye as well but she kept look over the site. On January 1, 2004, Sonicanime, as well as SonicUnderground was shut down because the bill for the server was not paid. The Nicknyte Corporation fell apart, and Kite the Ribbon was never heard from again. It wouldn't be till the summer of 2005 when the NC came back to redefine it's image. A professional Webdesign company, a comic site, an anime and game review site, and multimedia station was in its brand new design and Nicknyte.com was started to host all these things. Nicknyte Corporation's plan was to become one of the best sites on the internet and it's journey had just begun.
